| Senior
Citizens Council of Delhi has signed a MOU on 18 May, 2010 at Kathmandu
(Nepal) with the Geriatric Centre Nepal (an NGO working for the elderly)
in the presence of Honorable Shri Sarv Dev Prasad Ojha, Minister of Social
Welfare, Government of Nepal for promoting exchange of groups of elderly
of both the countries.
On behalf of Senior
Citizens Council of Delhi, MOU was signed by its President Shri J.R. Gupta
and from Nepal side, Mr. K.M. Gautam, Chairperson signed. Incidentally,
it may be pointed out that Senior Citizens Council of Delhi has already
signed MOU with Senior Citizens Council of Mauritius in the year 2006.

delegation members of the Council also called on Honorable President,
Dr. Rambaran Yadav, President of Nepal at Rashtrapati Bhavan, Kathmandu
who also appreciated the initiatives of the both the organisations.
